Terms of Service

Last updated: August 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SessionPlan. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SessionPlan.

SessionPlan is a fitness tracking and AI-assisted coaching platform. It lets you log workouts, build training context, and connect AI assistants (via the MCP protocol) to plan and review your training.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.

You must be at least 13 years old to use SessionPlan. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is lower.

One person may hold one account. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

You agree not to: attempt to access other users' data; reverse-engineer or scrape the service; use the service for any illegal purpose; introduce malware or disruptive code; or use automated scripts against the service without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

SessionPlan uses AI services to generate workout plans, coaching recommendations, exercise progressions, and performance reports. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or suggestions that are inappropriate for your individual circumstances.

AI-generated workout plans and coaching advice are not a substitute for professional fitness instruction, medical advice, or guidance from a qualified coach or clinician.

Generated sessions may include work that carries elevated risk when performed without coaching — maximal or near-maximal strength testing, sets taken to failure, technically demanding barbell lifts such as the deadlift, back squat, and Olympic lifts, jumping and plyometric work, high training volumes you are not accustomed to, and rapid increases in load or volume between sessions.

SessionPlan cannot see your technique, your equipment, or your actual effort, and it will follow your instructions — including instructions to train harder, to train through discomfort, or to progress faster than is appropriate for you. Treat every prescription as a starting point to be adjusted downward, and stop or substitute anything you cannot perform with control.

Before starting any new exercise programme, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or health concern, consult a qualified healthcare or fitness professional.

SessionPlan does not guarantee that AI-generated sessions, rep/weight prescriptions, or recovery recommendations are appropriate, accurate, or safe for any individual user.

SessionPlan does not screen you before you train. We do not review your medical history, and no coach or clinician sees a session before you perform it. You are the only person checking whether a session is appropriate for you.

By using SessionPlan you represent that, to the best of your knowledge: no healthcare professional has told you that you should exercise only under medical supervision; you do not have a diagnosed heart condition or uncontrolled high blood pressure for which unsupervised exercise has not been cleared; you have no current bone, joint, or soft-tissue problem that training could make worse; and you are not pregnant or recently postpartum without clearance to train. If any of these does not describe you, obtain clearance from a qualified healthcare professional before performing generated sessions, and tell your coach or clinician what the plan asks you to do.

If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms and agrees to your use of SessionPlan.

Stop exercising immediately and seek emergency medical care if you experience chest pain, pressure, or tightness; pain spreading to your jaw, neck, or arm; breathlessness out of proportion to the effort; dizziness, faintness, or loss of consciousness; or a cold sweat with nausea.

Stop the exercise — not necessarily the whole session — if you feel sharp or stabbing pain, pain at a joint line, a sudden pop or tearing sensation, or numbness, tingling, or loss of strength in a limb. Muscular burning during a set, and general soreness in the day or two afterwards, are normal. Sharp pain, joint pain, and nerve symptoms are not. Do not train through pain because a generated plan says to. A generated session is a suggestion, not an instruction.

If soreness after a hard session is severe, a limb becomes swollen and painfully stiff, or your urine turns dark brown, seek medical care promptly.

Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, joint injury, cardiovascular events, and other harm. By using SessionPlan you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with performing the exercises and following the training plans generated or suggested by the service.

You are solely responsible for exercising within your physical capabilities and for seeking appropriate medical clearance before beginning or modifying a training programme.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SessionPlan and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including any injury, illness, or harm resulting from following AI-generated workout content.

SessionPlan is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content — including AI-generated content — is accurate or fit for any particular purpose.

You retain ownership of the training data and context you submit. By submitting it you grant us a licence to process and store it to operate the service, including transmitting it to connected AI clients you have authorised.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.

You may close your account at any time from Profile & Settings → Danger Zone. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, training context, and workout history from our live systems, and revokes access for any AI clients you connected. If you want a copy of your data, request an export before you delete.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, or discontinue the service as described under Service availability.

SessionPlan supports connecting third-party AI assistants (such as Claude or ChatGPT) via the MCP protocol. These integrations are optional. When you connect a client, SessionPlan shares your training data with that client according to the permission scopes you grant.

We are not responsible for the behaviour, output, or data handling of third-party AI clients. Review each provider's terms and privacy policy before connecting.

SessionPlan is in early access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice of significant changes, and to give you an opportunity to export your data before any planned shutdown of the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may revise these Terms as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

August 30, 2026. We rewrote these Terms for a public audience.

We added a Health and readiness section covering what you are confirming about your own health, and what symptoms should make you stop training or seek care. Please read it.

We named the specific categories of generated work that carry elevated risk without coaching, and stated plainly that the system will follow your instructions even when they are not good for you.

We added a Termination section describing how to close your account.

We set the minimum age at 13, and at 16 in the European Economic Area and UK.
